Welcome to LBE!

Welcome to the 2024-2025 School Year!

I am honored to return to Luther Branson Elementary to serve as principal and look forward to continuing the legacy of “Excellence Every Day!” I am excited about partnering with all families to continue to build on the strong foundation that is already in place at Luther Branson.

I am a product of the Falcon zone as a graduate of Velma Jackson High School. I earned my bachelor’s degree from Tougaloo College and both a master’s and an education specialist degree from Mississippi College. This is my 19th year in education. Throughout my career, I have served as a classroom teacher in Madison County Schools, Instructional Specialist at Luther Branson, curriculum lead in Jackson Public Schools, and most recently as an implementation leader for curriculum developer Great Minds.

My husband Rashad and I have one daughter, Reagan, who will be a sophomore at Germantown High School this year.

Every Family! Every Teacher! Every Child! Excellence Every Day!
