Robotics is a production-based learning module. The students here at LBE have the opportunity to build something tangible and make their creation perform the actions that they program it to do. Robotics introduces students to programming, troubleshooting, and increased creativity in our young children. It also promotes inclusivity and prepares our students for the future. The robotics club meets after school and is coached and moderated by teachers, Mr. David Parks and Mrs. Angela D. Brown.
At robotics competitions, teams of students must design and build a robot that can compete against opponents in a series of specific challenges. Students develop and program their robots in the weeks before the event, adhering to a list of preset rules and regulations. Over the years and with immense dedication, the Luther Branson Robotics Team has acquired numerous accolades and awards:
